A Sneak Peek

What you can expect to see in the program

“Anatomy has always felt overwhelming, and I’m not great at memorizing it.”

This course isn’t about lecture-style learning or memorizing every muscle. It’s about making anatomy intuitive by experiencing it through movement, so you can understand what matters, feel it in your own body, and let that directly shape how you cue, sequence, and teach.

We've Been There Too...

Memorizing without truly understanding how to teach from it

You’ve learned muscle names and actions before, but it didn’t stick. It felt like information to pass a test, not something you could actually feel, apply, or use in real time. As a result, you may find yourself second-guessing your cueing and sequencing, wondering if you’re repeating what you were taught instead of confidently responding to what the body in front of you actually needs.

How Your Teaching Evolves

Confidence teaching from understanding, not memorization

You’ll be able to cue and sequence from genuine knowledge of how bodies move and adapt, reducing second-guessing and helping your classes feel more intentional and supportive.

A stronger, more sustainable personal movement practice

By experiencing anatomy through movement, you’ll learn how to support your own joints, energy, and longevity so your practice evolves with you rather than wearing you down.

The ability to adapt in real time to different bodies

Instead of relying on fixed scripts, you’ll develop the skill of observing and responding to the humans in front of you, making your teaching more inclusive, effective, and responsive.

Teaching that stands out for its depth and clarity

Your classes will feel more thoughtful and purposeful, helping you build trust with students, strengthen retention, and grow a reputation as a teacher who truly understands movement.

"Shae has such a wonderful anatomical background."

"I have a strong awareness of my physical body, but this really helped me dive even deeper into what exactly is going on. It helped me understand how my body can move through poses differently and how I can consider bringing that to how I cue others through poses. It helped so remarkably much!"

Jen, RYT500, Tucson, AZ

"I am very glad I made the decision to join. Shae is a true yoga scholar with a well-rounded background and training skillset. "

"In particular she has a working knowledge of functional anatomy, both as it relates to yoga as well as movement in general. Her yoga flows are creative and dynamic, I learned so much about becoming a deeper teacher with a solid anatomy background. Her myofascial training woven into vinyasa is such a skillset and unique offering to be able to teach!"

The Transformation

This program shifts anatomy from something you study to something you experience. Instead of memorizing structures or searching for the “right” cues, you will begin to see how bodies adapt, compensate, and build strength over time in your students and in yourself.

As this understanding deepens, teaching becomes more intuitive and responsive. Sequencing feels more intentional. Cueing feels more grounded. And your own practice becomes a space where you can build resilience, support your joints, and move in ways that serve your life beyond the mat.

This transformation happens through a blend of conceptual learning, movement based exploration, myofascial release, and real world teaching application. You will not just hear about anatomy. You will feel it, test it, question it, and learn how to apply it in ways that evolve with both science and lived experience.

The result is teaching that feels clearer, more confident, and more adaptable, and a personal practice that feels stronger, more supported, and sustainable for the long haul.

Introducing

Yoga for Anatomy and Mindful Movement

A 20-Hour Continuing Education Course for Yoga Teachers

Description

Yoga for Anatomy and Mindful Movement is a movement-based anatomy training designed to help teachers move beyond memorization and into real understanding. Through a blend of conceptual learning, embodied practice, myofascial release, and teaching application, you will learn how anatomy actually shows up in movement, sequencing, and cueing.

This course bridges the gap between knowing anatomical terms and being able to use them in real life. You will develop the ability to observe bodies more clearly, adapt your teaching with confidence, and build practices that support strength, longevity, and resilience.

The Problem It Solves

Many teachers leave anatomy trainings feeling overwhelmed, unsure what matters, and still reliant on memorized cues. Information alone does not translate into confident teaching.

This program shifts anatomy from something you try to remember into something you can feel, interpret, and apply. It helps you teach from understanding, support your own body more sustainably, and guide students in ways that are responsive, thoughtful, and grounded in real movement experience.
